Use a basic setup of an Arduino, proximity sensor, and LED to build a simple robot with a heart. You will learn some basic electronics, logic in code, and explore the human factors involved in our tendency to anthropomorphize gadgets. Though this class will go beyond the basic introduction, no prior experience with electronics or programming is necessary.
This workshop is limited in attendance to 10 people each.
Sign up will be at the Registration Table on a first come basis. A shuttle will pick up participants 20 minutes prior to the workshop at the designated shuttle pick up area. After the workshop the shuttle will return the participants to the conference on the main campus.
