Student-Centered Photovoltaic Energy Investigations

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Looking for a way to tackle the concept of energy using a student-centered maker approach? VEEP is excited to share our newly revamped photovoltaic curriculum for grades 4-8. We will share strategies for carrying out hands-on solar investigations and incorporating elements of the maker movement while meeting NGSS energy and engineering standards. Leave with ready-to use photovoltaic lessons and the opportunity to borrow a PVs curriculum kit of materials from VEEP.

Vermont Engery (VEEP)

VEEP’s programs serve students in kindergarten through 12th grade, their teachers, and their school communities through Vermont and beyond. We guide students in developing a deep understanding of energy efficiency and conservation, renewable energy technologies, and climate change. We also provide ways for students to take action on the issues they are learning about so that they can make a difference.
